35: Broadwaycon

unnamed

Sierra Boggess with Broadway Producer Harold Prince

Who’s ready for Broadwaycon?! I met the Broadwaycon Program Director, Sierra Boggess, at Broadway Flea, and here’s my interview with her.

But before that is a great story about Darren Criss that you won’t want to miss. All I have to say to Darren is:

And also, you CAN know me, dude! Just send me an email and you can be on the podcast. There’s really no reason to lie about it.

Oh, and if you want to have the same shirt I gave Darren, you can buy it here:

In other news, this happened:

I dropped off these gifts at the stage door, and Etai sent me this photo as a thank-you on Twitter. Sadly, Ari’el’s shirt has been deemed “unauthorized Chet Baker merchandise” by Zazzle, but you can buy Etai’s shirt here:

And someone on Etai’s feed requested another Elsietastic shirt, which is available here:

As always, proceeds from my shop go to keeping all of my giveaways free to mail anywhere in the world. Check out the whole shop here.

Episode 30 + Elsie Cast Merch!

You can listen to the new episode here: https://elsiecast.podbean.com/e/30-all-things-broadway-talks-elsie-fest/

I had a great time getting to know Eliyahu Kheel and Keira Todd from All Things Broadway. If you’re on Facebook, go check it out. It’s a lot of fun. Eliyahu and Keira and I had lots of fun talking about Elsie Fest 2017 and Eliyahu’s meet & greet with Lea Michele!

AND, they inspired me to make a merch shop. I’ve been having so much fun designing things like this:

and this:

and this:

But most relevant to Episode 30 is the #doitforMardie t-shirt, which you must buy right this second. #doitforMardie

Honestly, if you don’t like any of it, don’t buy it. But if you do find something you like (and I’d appreciate it if you would take a look) then I’ll use the money to mail Playbills all over the world. I absolutely love the fact that I can make people around the world happy by giving away something that honestly is going to become dog-eared piles of mess around my house, but it does get expensive, especially when the random number generator picks a lot of international winners in a row. So if I can make just a little bit of money–just $5-$10 per month–it would offset the cost of mailing the Playbills and that would make this whole hobby just a little bit easier.

But, I mean, if you were planning to send money to Puerto Rico, by all means, do that instead. Just, if you’re in the market for a t-shirt or a tote bag, consider checking out the Elsie Cast shop. (You can get to it by clicking the logo right there.)
