39: Sounds of Broadwaycon

I had a great time at Broadwaycon. You’ll have to wait for my official photos in a future post (whenever Broadwaycon gets them out, but here are some good ones:

I met Telly Leung again and Nicholas Barasch for the first time. I would like to have each of them on the podcast someday.

I found some Elsie alums too:

Here I am with Julie James (2016), Ari’el Stachel (2017) and Laura Osnes (2015)

And now here’s the podcast episode for your listening pleasure: https://www.podbean.com/media/share/pb-zydd6-882592

Thanks to my guests (from top left, clockwise) Tim Dolan, Mardie Baldo + Glinda, Abbie, Samantha, Alexis & Sarah. (Not pictured, but also appreciated: Ethan, Lyra, and Gigi)

I wore three Elsietastic shirts to Broadwaycon. You can get them here:

More items are available in my shop.

Episode 30 + Elsie Cast Merch!

You can listen to the new episode here: https://elsiecast.podbean.com/e/30-all-things-broadway-talks-elsie-fest/

I had a great time getting to know Eliyahu Kheel and Keira Todd from All Things Broadway. If you’re on Facebook, go check it out. It’s a lot of fun. Eliyahu and Keira and I had lots of fun talking about Elsie Fest 2017 and Eliyahu’s meet & greet with Lea Michele!

AND, they inspired me to make a merch shop. I’ve been having so much fun designing things like this:

and this:

and this:

But most relevant to Episode 30 is the #doitforMardie t-shirt, which you must buy right this second. #doitforMardie

Honestly, if you don’t like any of it, don’t buy it. But if you do find something you like (and I’d appreciate it if you would take a look) then I’ll use the money to mail Playbills all over the world. I absolutely love the fact that I can make people around the world happy by giving away something that honestly is going to become dog-eared piles of mess around my house, but it does get expensive, especially when the random number generator picks a lot of international winners in a row. So if I can make just a little bit of money–just $5-$10 per month–it would offset the cost of mailing the Playbills and that would make this whole hobby just a little bit easier.

But, I mean, if you were planning to send money to Puerto Rico, by all means, do that instead. Just, if you’re in the market for a t-shirt or a tote bag, consider checking out the Elsie Cast shop. (You can get to it by clicking the logo right there.)
